Responsibility is nothing new for the marabout fairy. Since its creation, the brand has brought this notion to life at different levels, favoring made-in Europe or through associative partnerships.
To take this approach further and give it “ a new lease of life ”, in 2020 we created a dedicated range which makes it easy to identify pieces made from materials that are the most respectful of the environment and people. Our organic certifications
Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS
The GOTS certification, the most demanding, guarantees that our pieces contain at least 95% organic cotton and are produced in strict compliance with social and environmental criteria. Choosing GOTS means favoring ethical and sustainable fashion, which aligns with the values of transparency and quality that we cherish.
The marabout fairy has been GOTS certified since January 2022, Ecocert Greenlife license n°252903.
Organic Content Standard
OCS
Choosing our OCS textiles means opting for cotton grown without harmful substances, promoting sustainable farming practices that preserve water and biodiversity. This responsible approach also supports traceability from farm to finished product, offering our customers the guarantee of a conscious, quality purchase.

Our recycled certifications
Recycled Claim Standard
RCS
RCS certification ensures that items are made with a minimum of 5% recycled content. At La Fée Maraboutée, we have set ourselves a minimum of 30%. This certification guarantees the traceability of recycled materials and supports transparent practices throughout the supply chain. Choosing RCS products means helping to reduce the use of virgin resources and supporting sustainable consumption.
