1.Protection of your personal data

In accordance with the Regulations, LA FEE MARABOUTEE records all the data processing it carries out in a register of processing activities, which we make available to the CNIL. All information you may have provided to LA FEE MARABOUTEE during your visits to the Site is strictly confidential. This information is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.

1.1.What Personal Data is collected and processed?

The information that may be collected and processed is as follows:

- Identification and contact details: your first name, last name, date of birth, gender, postal address, delivery address, telephone number, email address, language and the country from which you interact with us;
- Financial and payment data: your bank details (please note that all payment transactions are encrypted by the receiving bank and that we do not store any bank card numbers), information about your purchases, orders, returns, etc.;
- Geolocation data (your IP address only allows us to estimate your country so that we can automatically display the most suitable version of the Site. This estimate is approximate, is not retained and you can change your country at any time), login details (your username and password), and browsing data (for example, when you use the “find a store” feature);
- Personal preferences: this includes your cookie preferences.

When we ask you to enter your personal data to access a feature, some fields are mandatory because we need that information to provide the feature (for example, we need your postal address to deliver a parcel to you).

It is important that the personal information you share with us is accurate and up to date. Please update your information if it changes.

We do not process any personal data that could be considered “sensitive” (information concerning racial or ethnic origin, political, philosophical or religious beliefs, trade union membership, health or sex life) under personal data regulations.
In this regard, please note that our Site is not intended for children and that we therefore do not process any data relating to them.

2. Internet browsing security

2.1. Protecting your data on the Internet

The Site has appropriate security measures in place to prevent the loss, unauthorized use of or access to, alteration or disclosure of your Personal Data.

All personal data collected is stored on secure servers. LA FEE MARABOUTEE has also put procedures in place to manage any personal data breach.

2.2. Malicious use

We recommend connecting only to secure networks, preferably private networks. Be aware of the risks of using public Wi-Fi networks.

In addition to LA FEE MARABOUTEE, to whom you have voluntarily provided your Personal Data, and given the nature of the Internet, other parties with no connection to LA FEE MARABOUTEE may intercept this data without your consent, particularly while you are browsing the Internet. We therefore recommend installing antivirus and anti-spyware software on your computer and updating it regularly.

2.3. Impersonation/ Deceptive practices/ Phishing

LA FEE MARABOUTEE will never ask you to provide personal information by email.

If you receive an email claiming to be from LA FEE MARABOUTEE asking you to provide sensitive personal information (bank details, information about your private life, etc.), please do not reply. Forward the email to us so that we can take the necessary action.

You should only provide information about your account after logging in to www.lafeemaraboutee.fr directly through your browser.

3. Cookie policy

A cookie is a small text file that may be stored in a dedicated area of your Device’s hard drive when you visit a website. It allows its issuer to identify the Device on which it is stored for as long as the cookie remains valid or stored.

When you visit the Site, information about your Device’s browsing activity (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) may be recorded through cookies placed on your Device, subject to the choices you have made regarding cookies, which you can change at any time.

3.1. What are the cookies placed on our Site used for?

Only the issuer of a cookie can read or change the information it contains.

When you connect to the Site, LA FEE MARABOUTEE may, subject to your choices, place various cookies on your Device to recognize its browser for as long as the relevant cookie remains valid.

We use the cookies we place for the purposes described below:
- to conduct research and compile statistics on traffic and the use of the various elements of our Site (sections and content viewed, browsing paths), allowing LA FEE MARABOUTEE to improve the relevance and usability of its services;
- to adapt the Site’s display to your Device’s display preferences (language, screen resolution, operating system, etc.) when you visit the Site, depending on the viewing or reading hardware and software on your Device;
- to remember information you entered in a form on the Site (registration or access to your Member Area) or products, services or information you selected on the Site (a subscribed service, etc.);
- to allow you to access your Member Area using login details or information you previously provided; and
- to implement security measures, for example by asking you to log in again to access content or a service after a certain period of time.

3.2. Your choices regarding cookies

You have several options for managing cookies. Any settings you choose may affect how you browse the Internet and your access to certain services that require cookies.
You can set and change your cookie preferences at any time using the methods described below.
You can configure your browser to store cookies on your Device or, conversely, to reject them, either systematically or depending on who places them.
You can also configure your browser to ask you whether to accept or refuse cookies each time, before a cookie is stored on your Device. For more information, see the section "How can you manage your preferences, depending on the browser you use?" in Article 4.2.3. below.

3.2.1. Accepting cookies

Whether a cookie is stored on a Device depends primarily on the Device user's preferences, which they can set and change at any time, free of charge, using the options provided by their browser.
If you have allowed your browser to store cookies on your Device, cookies embedded in the pages and content you have viewed may be stored temporarily in a dedicated area of your Device. Only the party that placed them will be able to read them.

3.2.2. Refusing cookies

If you refuse to allow cookies to be stored on your Device, or if you delete cookies already stored on it, the quality of the services offered by the Site will not be affected.

However, you will no longer be able to use certain features that may be necessary to navigate some areas of the Site. This would be the case if you tried to access content or services that require you to log in. It would also be the case if LA FEE MARABOUTEE -or its service providers- could not, for technical compatibility purposes, identify the type of browser used by your Device, its language and display settings, or the country from which your Device appears to be connected to the Internet.

Where applicable, LA FEE MARABOUTEE accepts no liability for any consequences affecting the operation of its services if it is unable to store or access cookies necessary for those services because you have refused or deleted them.

Please note that some cookies cannot be deleted because they are strictly necessary for the technical operation of the Site.

3.2.3. How can you manage your choices in your browser?

The settings for managing cookies and your preferences differ from one browser to another. Your browser’s help menu explains how to change your cookie preferences.
- For Internet Explorer: http://windows.microsoft.com/fr-FR/windows-vista/Block-or-allow-cookies
